Buck Reasor, DMD

Buck has the unique perspective of having been a practicing dentist for many years before helping dentists buy and sell practices. Consider these benefits:

•  Buck was a general dentist for 28 years with a private practice in the Portland area giving him unique insight into what dentists want and need. Buck gets it.

•  Working with a dentist who is a practice transition specialist, and who has also been a commercial real estate broker simplifies the process of buying and selling practices and dental buildings.

•  A long-time resident and business owner in the northwest who knows the area, its people, and its potential.

•  A trusted businessman with respectful, productive relationships with other professionals in the field so he can connect his clients with the right banks, architects, contractors, attorneys, accountants, and others to facilitate a smooth completion of each project.

•  An experienced professional who knows the practice transition business well. His Ten Step Plan has been proven to be successful.

•  Buck is himself the owner of a small firm so clients get attentive, personal service.

More About Buck Reasor, DMD

A native of northern Idaho, Buck Reasor attended dental school at OHSU, then spent three years in the U. S. Army Dental Corp in Europe.

Portland won him over. He bought an existing dental practice in Gresham and practiced for 28 years. In addition, Buck taught cosmetic and full mouth restoration at the Las Vegas Institute for six years and was a popular lecturer on cosmetic dentistry both locally and in Mexico.

In 2002, Buck sold his practice and retired from dentistry. He became a commercial real estate agent, specializing in the purchase, sale and leasing of dental offices. He has developed and built professional office condominiums in the Portland area. He also helps dentists find land and general office space to convert to dental offices so they may own their own building. From there, it was a natural evolution to helping dentists sell and purchase dental practices.

Buck's breadth of experience and extensive network of contacts has made him a successful transition broker, the choice for dentists who want the best culmination of their lifetime of hard work: a successful sale that is a win/win/win for them, the purchasing dentist, and the staff and patients that are the core of any good practice.

Buck is an avid runner and golfer. He and his wife, Karla, have four children and six grandchildren and, in their spare time, they love to travel.

"The transitioning of my practice was so amazingly beautiful that I find it difficult, if not impossible, to put into words. Discovering Buck Reasor was the common denominator to making a deal of a lifetime happen before my very eyes. Buck is the "real deal"! His professionalism and wisdom resulted in as seamless of a transition as one could ever imagine. I would have been disappointed with anyone other than Buck Reasor. "Thank you for your professional approach in the appraisal, sale, and transfer of my dental practice. You were a source of enormous strength, knowledge, and professionalism. I certainly appreciated your ability to find a motivated buyer in such a timely manner and for walking us through the practice transition process. Also, your knowledge of real estate values and the simultaneous sale and closing of my dental building saved me a lot of time in the whole process."
